I know I am not gonna get much luck by posting this here, but before heading to Ebay, I am gonna give it a shot here.

I am currently looking to get 2 mobile CPUs.

If you have any of following CPUs I list, shoot me a PM and discuss a deal.

T7300

T7500

T8300

P8600

Those four models are primary ones I want to get, but if you have something in between, let me know also.

Cya !

Here's a T7300 I found on Ebay for $79 USD ---

http://cgi.ebay.com/Intel-Core-2-Du...84QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCPUs?hash=item5ad82d6f98

And here's the processors available there for socket P (P right? -it's 478 pins then)

Thanks, but ...

Thought I saw a T7500/7600 over at notebookreview.com.'s marketplace. I know there's a T9900 3.08GHz for $300 but that's on the high side.

Ill check if your interested.

Had to do the pre-emptive Ebay search for ya'... Mobile processors stay expensive it seems! Looked around for a quick search and couldn't find a better deal than that T7300. What's your price range anyway?

I am looking to replace the CPU for my NAS rig (Named NAS-Apathy in my signature).

Price ? Well, I know well in mobile CPU area since I often build power efficient servers utilizing mobile cpu, so I am willing to pay any price as long as price is reasonable.

I am able to find T7500 for around 100USD.
T7300 for 50 ~ 70.
T7100 for 50. <- Why bother. I'd rather go for T7300.

T8300 for 150.
P8600 for 200.

I've been keeping an eye on Q9x00 cpu though. Price's still too high. (300) I want to build a WCG rig based on that quad core mobile cpu one day.

That quad would definitely be nice!
Aside from the 200 MHz, are there any other differences between the t7500 and the t8300?
Oh -t8300 =3megs l2 cache / t7500 has 4?!!
A t7300 for 50 dollars sounds like a steal though. With the extra money, you could almost build a second ITX machine!

T7500 is Merom based CPU. (65nm)
T8300 is Penryn. (45nm)
Penryn architecture is about 10% faster than merom arch.

Q9000 (45nm) is a quad core at 2.0GHZ rated at whooping 45w.

P9500 for $200 shipped here:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=456162

It's a 2.5Ghz w/6MB L2 cache, 1066 FSB, and 25W TDP

There was a Q9000 for $200 for sale there too, even a Q9100 w/a 2GB stick of 1066 DDR3 for $300 a while back.

:)

EDIT: found a P8700 for $160 shipped here:

http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=470300

HE said he might have a P9500 FS soon as well!

Hope it's what your looking for.

Thanks. I guess I will register there. I should have much better luck over there, it seems.
