Mobile Ryzens

Where the heck are the mobile Ryzens? I can barely find any notebooks with say 3550H, and there already is the next generation available for desktop.
What's going on?

I've only been seeing them in lower-end laptops, but either way, the 3xxx series is Zen+, so they were announced ahead of desktop 3xxx series based on Zen 2. I wonder if we'll see architecture parity between desktop and mobile Ryzen series within the next two generations, or if mobile will always be playing catch-up.

Picasso is also available on some $800-$1000 laptops.

Picasso is Zen+, it's the follow-up to the Zen-based Raven Ridge APUs, and powers the 3xxx series Ryzen mobile. I think everyone's wondering when the successor to that will be announced and made available. Maybe they're just trying to squeeze an octa-core in before they release one.

3200G/3400G/3x00U are Picasso, and are Zen+ + Vega 12nm.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Zen2 has just gone "live", and mobile is only barely getting a few Zen+ models here and there. WTF!

Looks like I will have to go with Intel despite not wanting to.
