Summary: i want to upgrade my matx media system/2nd gaming system, to SLI.

That means a matx board that can run socket 775 with an E6750 (CPU from storage rig), run SLI (2x 8800GT) and still fit in a matx case.

I have seen this before on socket 939, anyone know of any for 775?

Man, that system will be hotter than hell..I'm not sure putting 2x8800gt in a matx is a good idea. You're just asking for heat problems.

not really... my current GT loads at 55C passive. i have a nicely cooled matx case already - check the pics in my sig (media system)
