Mobo supports led strips

So I bought a mobo which supports led strips but not sure how this works as I have never used led strips before. What kind of led strips should I buy?

The mobo model is gigabyte B450M gaming.

Most addressable 4-pin 12V LED strips should work as per the manual.
Something like this maybe?

Most will work fine... just don't plug them in backwards!

Personally I like phanteks strips. They're cheap, stick decently well and look great. The only issue I've had on one board in particular is the color channels are mapped to different pins from the mobo output... so to get red light I set blue. Or to get green I set it to red.
