    Guys,

I need to mod a cable from my PSU (Silverstonetek Strider 1000) the output I need are Yellow and Purple for 5V Standby and +12V. I think it's quite simple. I have a bunch of IDE&SATA and EPS8PIN/ATX4PIN and PCIE-8PIN/6PIN outputs available.

I can do some research on this if I get the manual just like to document these things and get feedback.

    Kind regards,

    Adrian

I should add what I dont want to do is have two cables off one pin i.e two cables coming off pins 8,9,10 from the ATX. I would rather have a separate line for what I need. I see no reason why i can't switch to +5V from a different line that has a higher max amp, such as a SATA Connector or a 4PIN Peripheral Connector. These both have +5VDC which I can use for 5Vsb.
