Modern Warfare 2 issue

Hey fellow TPUers,

I got this odd problem with Modern Warfare 2 online. I have a really hard time connecting to my friends or joining there parties.

Odd thing is, my NAT is Open and my ports are forwarded. Same thing goes on the other end of the UTP line, my friends have the same settings and Open NAT. Is this Steam/IWFail net bitching? Or are there other things in play.

I got a KPN Xperiabox as modem/router. Incase needed I got a Linksys Cisco router I can put in between the modem and my PC.

I'm kinda at a loss here, so any help you people can provide me is greatly appreciated.

It's not balanced for playing with friends.

You can try playing on a dedica........... oh wait, nvm.

Well, to make this post not useless, are your friends on the same ISP as you? You could also be running different versions, MW2 doesn't like to update randomly from my experiences with the free weekends.

Do any of you not have the map pack? You can't play with your friends that don't have it and vice/versa.

most likely a IWNet issue dude, hate to say it. sometimes when im playing with my clan it takes 6 7 8 trys for IWNet to connect us. and sometimes we simply have to connect to someone else to play. IWNet Fail.
