Eh. The sp for 2 was good, but short. Multi, i stopped playing pretty quickly. Didn't even get to prestige mode. I was pretty good at the original, and sucked hard at 2. So that pissed me off pretty good.

The jury will be out on this until I see something truly awesome from it

Won't buy it. I'm tired of Activision profiting from regurgitating the same old FPS and charging for old maps. I don't care if they tweak the story line or add a new gun I'm tired of it I'll just stick with what I have.

Wasnt it obvious that this franchise will be milked to death after the 1st Modern Warfare?

The game itself is not bad but i am tired of it because the MP is now overrated and no decent crowd to play with (unless with friends)

Thats were it has been headed hear and there, I bet you were a fan of the ghost recon series and a couple of other series running about that were more realistic. I was, but these arcade shooting games make a better competition with us people and our mouses, so we can see who is the best threw the over all endings.

Arcade makes for a more fun multilayer experience, and if they just added dedicated servers to mw2 and some zombies, then I would have bought the game for 60 dollars no questions.

But After playing the free weekend, i would have litteraly SHOT myself for wasting a good 65 dollars on mw2 and being disconnected 10 times in a godly row and just quiting the free weekend after that -_-.

Ruined the game with out dedicated servers.

What i also note to hate about mw2, is there are only 4? snipers, and some classes arnt so deep. We need a shoot-em up game with over 40 of selection evenly balanced and overpowered in there own aspect of each class with many add-on's and many huge maps, with dedicated servers and 48-64 players. I would be strait out jaw droped.

The only game I play online anymore is Counter Strike : Source. All other games including COD series I play the solo game, beat it, put it with all the rest of the games. Honestly, I haven't played Modern Warfare 2 yet, but Modern Warefare was pretty awesome in my opinion. Im playing World at War currently, and its cool.

Oh...all referances are to PC versions.

No console gaming for me.

Are you talking about games like Operation Flash Point? Because i found that game to be shit and nowhere close to MW/MW 2 SP campaign mode.

Hmm, not sure if this is the best CoD thread to point this out but uh, all the in-fighting about Treyarch and Infinity Ward is a bit silly when you consider that ultimately, all the CoD games come out pretty much identical.

They use the same graphical subsystems, the same physics values, the same..etc.

It's like we've come to a point where we have IW 'fanboys' ... seriously.. if you want to hold allegiance to something, try your wife, or your staff sgt. or your nation's flag, not a fu**ing video game developer.

Don't know, he might have been talking about Flash Point, or possibly the ARMA series. Hell even the old original Rainbow Six was more realistic than CoD. You know why? Because you didn't have perks that made you sustain a direct shot to the face at four feet. You also couldn't take a LMG and one shot someone from across a board distance of several hundred yards. And to think that came out in 1999?

See back then, there were limitations, and they did the best they could. Now-a-days, they can get around those limitations but they choose not to.
Obviously because it wouldn't sell as much - but I understand AKlass' pain.

I'll probably get it. MW2 single player was fun and the multiplayer is enjoyable when I don't want to be tactical or use my brain at all. :laugh:
