Monitor for gaming.

LG IPS236V imo screw the 3d one, i'd rather have the nicer ips panel.
 
Depends what you want to use it for. For 3D gaming the 120Hz TN monitor is way better. I've even done a review of it here.

Well personally i say Meh to 3d, but each to their own i say. Nice monitor if you want 3d though i s'pose.

Oh duh! I meant to say it's damned fine for 2D gaming at 120Hz too, lol. Makes a big difference. You can even see it just moving the mouse pointer across the screen on the desktop.
 
I wish I had 120hz, it looks fkn amazing but of course it will also depend on the performance of your system/game. 60FPS is getting old fast, you should try walk into a store and see if you can get a demo of 120hz monitor running a game or something just so you can decide whether you like it or not, imo its definitely worth the extra bucks and mighty future proof in regards to hertz. In that sense the reason I'd personally want to buy a 3D monitor because of it's performance 120hz, the 3D feature is just the cherry on top.

120fps is the new 60fps, something alot of us PC junkies like myself would find exhilarating to cap by improving our systems.
