Why bother? From my experience in the middle-east (and North Africa) it's easier/cheaper to ship from EU/US rather than buy locally. PC parts choices are far and few between and the shops charge astronomically high even though there's supposedly no or very low tax. Only exception imo are shops based in UAE. Maybe because of the expats living there, PC is very popular there. And luckily they ship to all the nearby GCC countries.

Correct, No local stores in Sudan, only option is to import from a neighbouring country (Egypt, UAE, KSA). The shops I have been looking at are microless.com, gear-up.me, and amazon.ae. The problem is they all don't ship to Sudan so I have to find a friend/company to ship the thing. Not to mention the obscene prices; The M27Q in question for instance is $560 in UAE (link), and that's without factoring in shipping.


Anyway, Thanks for all the suggestions, I have narrowed it down to a shortlist of a few 27" IPS 144Hz 1440p monitors , now I will just see what I can reasonably import without selling a kidney.
