Monitor Refresh Rate?

I currently have my screen resolution set at 1920 by 1200 resolution. The monitor refresh rate is 60 Hz. Whenever I go into the Catalyst Control Center, I can force the refresh rate to 75 Hz. Is that recommended?

No, unless your monitor supports it. If it doesn't, it can damage your monitor. You wont be able to tell the difference between 60 or 75Hz anyway.

It would be useless on LCDs anyway. LCDs don't have refresh rate like CRTs do. Keep it at 60.

Most LCD's perform best at a 60Hz setting. 75 makes my backlite give a slight beep...
