Today i was playing a game and it just frozed, so i re-booted my computer. When it gets to the windows welcome screen my monitor loses its signal so i replug the DVI and the screen turns on but my monitors the high resolutions are missing leaving me with the 800x600. My monitor is ViewSonic VX2235wm (native resolution of 1680x1050) and i have tried to reinstall the videocard drivers and monitor drivers and the problem remains. The only way i can get the resolution fix is reformating the computer or changing the DVI plug to VGA. Is there anyway i can fix this, also this is on Vista.
