It has denuvo though... I see a lot of posts out there about its impact on performance but Im not sure how legit those are.

It shouldnt matter. If the DRM affects performance then the benchmark is still valid as long as it affects performance on all platform types.

With my specs runs smooth and nothing to complain till now. Just turn off the VRQ and enjoy the game

Hope you're all ready for METEOR from Behemoth(Final Fantasy) when you reach high enough HR to do it, the recommended HR is 16 to do the quest but I highly recommend wait until you get High rank gear first at least.
I'll be attempting it again on PS4 later with my older bro..so far the record is me 7 death and my bro 3 deaths lol.

7 deaths only ... bahhh sounds like a piece of cake compared to tye death score i have in dark souls 1 lol

I haven't attempted the quest enough yet, the first 5 was just the first encounter, the next 2 was the actual quest. I'll be trying again later as I have not been home since Wednesday, which was when I last played MHW.

My friend wanna rush the rank for upcoming events but i want to enjoy the game and get there with no rush even though im dying for the challenge
I hope more people jump in and turn the game in a big success, so we can hope more content and challenges

The real fun is when you get to do the higher rank quest and fight against the elder dragons, I would probably try get through the main story as quickly as possible.
Definitely remember to farm for resources and use the farming guy to cultivate any materials you need like honey or herbs to make mega potions and get assignments etc for additional rewards.

In my case vrq on or off doesnt matter because cpu is not fast enough to feed the gpu with enough load

You have way better system than the one i have and im running the game at 1440p all max VRQ OFF with fps between 40 and 60s and the gameplay feels smooth. Denuvo or whatever it is it, the game is running flawessly for me

Yeah, no. 40-60 isnt flawless it is sluggish and annoying and avoiding that is one of the reasons I game on PC.

I slso simply do not buy Denuvo protected games, In fact it is the only game I pirate when it becomes possible, to support whatever I can support to see that form of DRM die. I buy all my other games. Remove Denuvo, and I may get it on sale. Keep it in there and ur not getting a dime...

I would like to test it, just to see how it runs on my old X58 platform on the bedst possible means. I mean al ready tried Far Cry 5 and that ran maxed out and have yet to find a game that can bring my system to it knees so that i have a reason to upgrade. Its just right now i have to use money on my car now and not games, yeah it sucks ass.

But if any one are willing to lent me there copy, i will be glad to share som results for those that might be wundering how it would run on an old platform.

Im still going through some of the early High Rank quests. I just did the Rathalos and Diablos story missions. I spent some time grinding to get Palicoe Gadgets and a new Armor and Weapon set so im waltzing through the enemies at this point in time.

Me too, I prepared every crafting and item for that fight. Odogaron and Rathalos fight were awesome. I cant kill any of them since they give more prizes for capturing

Vs Odogaron - 0 faints
Vs Rathalos - 0 faints
Vs Diablos - 1 damn faint lol
anyway hes sleeping now....
