Activision today confirmed the release of the Infinity Map Pack on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Expanding the original experience with five new multiplayer maps, CoD fans can expect locations as diverse as Antonville, France (Crossroads), St. Louet, France (Newvillers), Amaye sur Seulles, France (Normandy), Alam Halfa, Egypt (Decoytown) and Rostov, Russia (Harbor).

"The Invasion Map Pack is another way for us to extend the Call of Duty 2 universe," said Grant Collier, studio head of Infinity Ward. "We've mixed things up with the Invasion Map Pack, providing a variety of diverse environments that are sure to provide hours of multiplayer action." The Infinity Map Pack is available to download via the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80).

No pc version thats crap, i like that game and am currently playing it again right now.some new maps would be awesome.

Yeah I'm playing through it on veteran . . . too bad Counterstrike makes me good at any shooter. After you play CAL you get so good at aiming and stuff all shooters get easy. Still an awesome game.

COD2 is so lame. No hp or health of any kind, Insted all you have to do once you are damaged is hide breath hard and your back in the action. Fat Germans in WW2 that look like hitler? and panzer 2's in late war Russian front. COD1 was so much better they acutaly took pride in there game design and Historical references. Its as bad as DOD, they cant even get the right sides in the right map. Because we call know America and Britain were the only countries fighting for the allies (Canada was there all thou we were one of the colonies of Britain at the time does not make what we did in WW2 worthless) . and rember all Germans are "evil"

. . . right I think somewhere you forgot playing video games was fun, COD2 isundeniably a fun game, regardless of its historical accuracy. Games will never be fully realistic because they are well . . . games.

COD1 was fun and it has Historical accuracy, i enjoyed playing COD2 but for a WW2 FPS it really sucked, like the hole MOH serise. spending some more time on modles and overall desine would not of killed them in the sligtest. It probly MS fault trying to sell there crappy xbox360 has ruined more games then COD2
