I installed 11.2 and the morphological filtering and tessellation controls are not there. I have an XFX 5770 and I uninstalled 10.12, ran drive sweeper in safe mode, and then installed the new driver. I have done so twice and I still can't get these settings!

Other users running 5770s confirmed that they have the settings in CCC while others are suffering from the same problem.

What am I missing here?

Stop using driver sweeper. It's not needed. You only use it only when you are having problems and even then it's a last restore. Just uninstall like normal, reboot then reinstall. Just make sure you have the correct drivers. But before you do open up CCC and check out Software Information. There next to 2d File Path is the registry location of all CCC. Open up regedit and take a screenshot of: /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet00X/Control/Class/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/000X

Every since I moved to ATI/AMD cards, everyone suggest running drive sweeper in safe mode after the uninstall.

I will try without it though and if it does not work, I am going to install 11.1, then 11.1a on top of tip, and finally 11.2 on top.

Will report back with results later during the day.

Thanks for the help.

Once you get that sorted out type CMD in the search box and open CMD using admin rights. Next type: sfc /scannow. Wait a few minutes and post your results. If it's not 100% fine then read this thread for details on how to fix it. You will need the most current version of driver sweeper in order to restore the missing manifest/sub directory OS components.

I take it that this screenshot is what CCC told you to look? Did you use any 3rd party registry editing programs to get CCC features?
Because you have several UMD subkeys when you shouldn't (0001, 0002, 0003). If you take a look you already have the UMD subkey right under 0000 which is the main one. In the UMD subkey are the registry commands for MLAA. It's possible that is causing a conflict.

I never did any hacks to the registry. The only thing I can think of is installing RadeonPro which enabled Morhphological Filtering in CCC. (had no idea it will do that)

That is everything I did. I will triple check the key in CCC and see where it points.

Ah I see, that may have done it, not sure. But if that is what CCC tells you I'm pretty sure that 0000/UMD, etc is the main subkeys and the others are not needed.

Now I have an idea but you must make sure that LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/control/class/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/0000 is what CCC's software 2D File Path tells you to look. If so try this:
-Right click on {4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and select Export. Give it a name and save it so you can easily find it if you have to reboot in safe mode.
-Delete 0001, 0002, 0003 (from the screenshot only)
-Reboot PC and if there are no issues check CCC to see if you have MLAA. If not let me know and I can show you how to enable it.

Deleted the keys after exporting the higher-hierarchy key.

Will reboot and let you know what happened.

Rebooted and I can confirm that the keys are not there in the registry but nothing changed in CCC. The options are still missing? What's next? Re-install?

Take a look at 0000/ (the screen shot) and scroll down until you find MLF_NA and change it from 1 to 0
Now go to 0000/UMD/ and look for MLF_DEF and change it from 1 to 0
Next open up task manager go to process tab and remove mom.exe.
Next click on CCC icon

MLF_DEF was already 0 so I am going to keep it at 0 and continue what you suggested.

I changed Tesellation_NA to 0 and Tessellation Control is now in CCC.

Can we conclude that you nailed it right on and that it's all solved? :D

(I edited my post up there and I guess you did not read it)

Thanks a lot for helping!

I am going to test the settings in a couple of games and see the difference. Will report back.

Keep nailing it right on bud!

Make sure any integrated graphics is turned off in the BIOS. I believe the 790GP-UD4H has a HD3300.

Why do the keys in the registry act like NOT gates? You put 0 so that the option is enabled instead of disabled.

You are right about that and I think I have it enabled since I was flashing my card lately and that is my way out in case I brick it. I guess I have to disable it for now.

It's based on how the developers of the drivers set it up. 0 can be enabled or disabled depending on the term used. Another example is the use of EnableULPS has a numeric value of 1 to enable and 0 to disable. Terms that have the "_NA" means not available (or something like that) so using 0 for ..._NA cancels out the meaning that it's not available and becomes available.

Any fixes for the presets in CCC2. Settings simply do not stick and the interface is very buggy!

I'm not sure what you mean by presets. CCC2 works just fine.

Presets are the replacement of profiles.

Say I want a preset so that the fan is at 20% and another preset so that the fan is at 50%.

I go ahead and create each one like I used to do in CCC1. The problem is that the presets do not work most of the time. Like I enable the 20% fan speed preset and the fan stays at 50% for example.

Now that I understand how you were using the presets I created fan profiles and it works just fine. I really have no advice for something like that. Here is what I did:
1. Set the fan speed
2. Create a profile using that fan speed
3. Set another fan speed
4. Create another profile with that fan speed
5. Alternate between profiles to see if the fan speed changes and it does.
