so I have an older pc. Gigabyte ma790xt-ud4p with an amd 955 c2 stepping and HD6850 vid card and 2x4GB ddr3-1600 ram
pc ran good to a few days ago then wouldn’t boot. Pulled a stick of ram and it would boot
ram both sticks of ram in a similar pc. Memtest and prime 24hours no issue
cleared bios
Reflashed bios
Stepped clock down to 1066
Tried both sticks in 1-2 and 3-4 and single channel combos
Swapped vid cards
Ran prime 95 for 12 hours on one stick no errors or warnings
I’m at a loss now. I’m guessing mobo issue? Cpuz did say 1T command rate for 1 stick.
Any thoughts or suggestions??
