I guess if you don't OC, it could be fine. But on the other hand, if you're getting such a high-end CPU, I'd upgrade the motherboard too. :)

But that's just me. :D

Where is your location?
I mean what is your local market and what price for that B450 AorusPro?
MSI has the best B450 boards.

And what 16GB RAM? Did you have it already or buy now?
Actually... how many components do you have from that list, or you are buying them all now?

Nice parts, nothing to say against, mainboard would be absolute sufficient for the Ryzen 5 2600 :)

MSI has the best B450 boards.

Agree, seems that they have slightly better VRMs. MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon would also be a nice one

In my opinion the MSI B450I Gaming Plus and the Asus B450I ROG STRIX Gaming have the best VRMs of the B450 boards as they are the only one with 6 real phases. But as I said, that's my opinion and we had this dispute before...
Featurewise there may be better one.

The MSI
- A Pro
- Tomahawk
- Gaming Pro Carbon
seem all to have nearly the same VRM with the exception, that Gaming Pro Carbon has two chokes per phase, the others have only 1 here. It's not that problem anyway and they are all 4 phase boards with the same high-side/low-side FETs.

The Gigabyte:
- DS3H
- Aorus M
- Aorus Pro
- Aorus Elite

All have the same VRM. In difference to MSI they have only 1 high side FET per phase and they are all 4 phase boards. They all have 2 low side FETs like MSI but with a little higher drain to source on resistance. That means that the MSI low side FETs are a little more efficient in conductive losses than the Gigabyte ones.

The Asus:
- B450M-K
- B450M-A
- Prime Plus
- TUF Gaming
- TUF Pro Gaming
- B450E ROG Strix
- B450F ROG Strix

Nearly all have the same VRM. In exception TUF Pro and E ROG Strix which have 2 chokes per phase and 2 high side FETs per phase, the other 1 choke per phase and 1 high side FET per phase. They are all 4 phase boards. The Drain to source on resistance the same as the Gigabyte boards, so also slightly less efficient than the MSI VRMs.

The Asrock:
- HDV
- Steel Legend
Use the same VRM. 1 high side FET, 2 low side FETs, 1 choke per phase and 4 phases. Low Side FETs less efficient than Gigabyte, Asus and MSI FETs, there are also Asrock 3 phase boards I would avoid, the Pro 4, Fatality Gaming K4, Fatality Gaming ITX B450 and X470. Don't take these boards, my opinion.
