Hi everyone,
I have this Lenovo desktop motherboard of which I don't know the exact model but it comes with a 1050ti, an i5 7400 and 8 GB DDR4 2133.
Everything was going well until one day it didn't power on. Processor and memory are fine, I've tested them on another board and they function properly. I have noticed that the IC P5003QVG which is in close proximity with the m2 slot heats up a lot. Worrying that it might be damaged I have ordered a replacment on AliExpress but the new one heats up as well. Thinking that this IC was not essential to have the board post, I tried to power on wthout the IC but still no fix. I think the problem would be a short after the IC but I'm not sure.
I have included some pictures of the board.
Please bear with me, I don't have much experience in SMD soldering.
Thanks in advance to everyone who can bring me closer to fixing this board

Thank you for the reply.
If I can fix this board it would be more of a secondary system. I was looking for board level repair repair help.

The upper capacitors don’t look good ! Have you checked them ?

multimeter in diode mode and check all 3 capacitors and tell me the readings you get

First of all, thanks for the reply.
The right top one gives .023 and the other two ones say 0 so my guess is that they are shorted.

Take the ones that read 000 out of the board , and test the pins where they were soldered see if short is gone
