I have bought a motherboard a while back and I want to make use of it and make it in to a lan PC. It is a Intel 82845 & 8280IBA mobo.
1. It is a Socket 478, and it says that it supports the Intel Pentium 4 processor(Brookdale), now can I put Celeron processors in there?
2.Now I don't have the drivers for it and so do you think that if I just put XP on it and get it updated will it work ok without the original drivers?
3.For video it supports 4x AGP (AGP 2.0 Specification), 1.5 only. Now with that what is the most recent card I can put in there that can play the latest games, cause this is suppose to a be a portable lan PC.
4. Now for memory it support 168-pin DIMM SDRAM( PC100,PC133). Is there any high performance ram that can be used?
Thanks for helping.
