would getting an am2+ 2600 fsb motherboard make a difference with my system specs i listed? im going to over clock alittle but not extreme.

You can buy a normal AM2 mobo to OC, some are compatible (via BIOS update) with the new Phenom models, adding somewhat future-proof feature.

I would recommend the mobo I use (price-performance), but an ASUS or a DFI will do the job too.
