mouse is to jumpy to aim wtf??

ive been trying to play some fps games and my mouse i being quite jumpy, i know its not down to my gpu as it happens on cod1 and my old ti4200 pwned cod1,

the problem is when im trying to be quite exact with aiming ie: sniping etc i just cant get my aim right, my mouse is all jumpy the best way i can explain. i have a switchable laser mouse from 800dpi to 1600dpi, and on either settings i just cant get it to respond right.

ive tried adjusting the ingame mouse sensitivity to no avail and this is pissing me off now, could it be somthing to do with drivers (graphics?)

so far it happens in R6LV and COD1 that ive tested and both are unplayable due to it and the need to be accurate with aiming :cry:

try using a mouse pad if you aren't... that helped my mouse as it was very laggy

Try going to Start - Control Panel - Mouse and changing to speed of the mouse in there.

yea just lower the senstivity! helps alot!

there is a program somewhere on the net that doubles the mouse DPI!! try and find it! it might work for you.

I have that sorta trouble with my wireless mouse occasonally. I think its not recieving the signal from the mouse, or it drops it for a second (which is just long enough to screw me up)..or I read it could be going into sleep mode incidentally....anyway, I just ditched the wireless for a good old fashion USB G5

Uneven surfaces could wreak havoc on your laser, especially for slow movements.
