MSI, industry leader in motherboard and graphics card technology is happy to announce the availability of its complete Gaming motherboard lineup. At CeBIT 2013 the world got a first hands-on experience with the new models and the completely new look and feel of the motherboards and thanks to that we've received overwhelming positive reviews from gamers and media. As part of the 2013 series of motherboards, the new Z77 Gaming models will be available far into 2014. Together with the recently introduced Gaming Graphics Cards from MSI, they allow awe-inspiring PC builds from PC Gamers and Enthusiasts.

The MSI Z77 Gaming motherboards are designed to have as little lag as possible, to have the best possible input relay connections from your devices (mouse, keyboard and headset) and have the best audio set up integrated in the motherboard and have room for several graphics cards. These are but a few examples of how MSI has tried to perfect this Gaming motherboard for the enthusiasts who want the best hardware to get the best performance where it counts: in-game.

"I've been a professional gamer for 10 years, representing Team Fnatic since 2006. We partnered with MSI to develop the best gaming hardware for gamers, the most recent project being the MSI Z77 GAMING Series. The MSI Z77 GAMING motherboard has all the tools that a gamer could possibly wish for. All I have to do now is JUST GAME!" said Patrik "cArn" Sättermon, Chief Gaming Officer, Team Fnatic.

Top of the line, Z77A-GD65 GAMING
The MSI Z77A-GD65 GAMING is our top of the line Gaming motherboard. Of course it's loaded up with all the MSI Gaming features such as Killer NIC the network lag killer, Sound Blaster Cinema for realistic surround sound even with stereo headphones and Multi-GPU optimizations with Triple GPU support. It also comes with an array of overclocking tools like OC Genie 2, to extract even more Gaming performance out of their system.

What Gamers want
Because not every gamer is created equal, we don't take a "one size fits all" approach to Gaming motherboards. For you this means you can enjoy your Gaming motherboard without paying for features you'll never use and this allows us to provide true Gaming motherboards in segments the market has never seen before. In the end of the day, you'll have the board you need to be at the top of your game.

It is sad that Intel just said fuck you to the 1366 socket owners, no longer releasing new boards for them. Those sockets still have so much potential.

Yessir, review should go live next week, I wasn't given any NDA or launch date so it's been fit into the normal schedule.

It is sad that Intel just said fuck you to the 1366 socket owners, no longer releasing new boards for them. Those sockets still have so much potential.

Unfortunately, this is not true, since what the big change offered by the new sockets, 2011 and 1155 both, is moving the PCIe complex into the CPU itself, rather than as an external chipset, thereby greatly reducing latency, and allowing for greater connectivity(40 lanes and five devices vs 36 lanes and four devices).

What they've done, is taken the whole X58 I/O hub, and moved it into the CPU, leaving the PCH, which at that time, was ICH10/ICH10R. We still have that...in the form of X79/Z77.

well, thats intel for you. its actually normal for them to do this. this ensures they get more money off the newer sockets.

if they made compatible CPUs, they would see a drop in revenue generated from 3rd party motherboard makers.

No X79 version? Seems like no one cares about that platform, or maybe they will soon when ivy-e comes out.

Why pick the same colour scheme as Asus? Theres nothing wrong with their yellow and black..

I do agree that they should do an X79 platform, but I personally do not like ASUS so this motherboard color scheme opens me up for a red and black theme.

Also ASUS isn't known for black and red, they also do blue, which MSI is also known for.

MSI already has the Big Bang Xpower X79 which is a beast of a mobo and this is a gaming series, X79 isn't mainly aimed at gamers...

We need more neutral colors motherboards though.

I'm not imagining things but is that a B75 Chipset gaming board. Not sure if thats a good thing.
Upside cheaper, has USB3.0 and supports 4x dimm
downside: no overclocking, no raid, no dual grpahics cards
can't decide

The normal B75A-G43 supports multiple GPU's.. I assume this does as well. Overclocking and raid matters to a few.

I would like to see a mATX Gaming board.

why Z77 and why now? :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
Haswell is couple of months away why waste money developing and marketing motherboards on a platform which is going to discontinued soon.

Also agreed, should just have waited and launched them on Z87 altogether.

They will probably continue with this brand onto Z87 though.

They do it now because they want to prepare distributors and SI with this new line-up. Distributors can now familiarize themselves with the new line-up and will be more prepared when the Z87 hit the market.

Also, Intel is only aiming for 20% Haswell sales in H2 2013. Most is still Sandy and Ivy and it will be like that for at least another year to year and a half. LGA1155 will not be discontinued for a while ;)

NO mATX form factor !!?? That is madness !!

And they promote them as GAMING motherboards ! You know all Gamers prefer to carry on a small form factor PC to LAN PARTYS !

It's a pity Intel is in the chipset business as well, pushing consumers to buy new motherboards to get minor upgrades every tick tock. I mean really, what makes the diference among 1156, 1155 and 1150 sockets. At least we should thank Intel didn't come with a 1152 socket for Ivy Bridge.

BTW, nice motherboard
