Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Are you sure its broken? Have you tried installing it in the slot without the riser ribbon? Those ribbons go bad VERY easily.

How the hell can you install a chocked part in the wrong way??????????

This card may well be fried and its user error. You had 75w going the wrong direction probably.

One thing you could check is put the card in, but run PC on your iGPU and see if the card appears in devices. That may be a sign of (potential) life. Put display cable in mobo display output.

Y'know, after the many threads you've made about your issues I'd think you would stop trying to do whatever you're doing by now.

I'm assuming mining.

How about using a SHARPIE to mark the correct orientation on the riser card.

With the particular problems you’re having I would say stick to prebuilt machines and leave the ticketing alone or atleast not on the important rigs.

More than likely the card isn’t fried but the PCIe slot may very well be or even crazier the slot no enabled at all

if you installed the riser backwards that means you put 12v to the data pins
and the card is fucked
which should not even be possible unless the riser is defective
unless you flipped it at the board connection in which case HAHA

I mod should take an action, i have right to ask what i want, its not crap im asking,
May be someusers trying to search in google and watching this thread to fix their problem
And they see people are trolling every time i make thread.

Since my gpu is in care center, i have to order cable from online to save my time, as shipping is not quick process too. I think my question is not waste of time.

There is no need to go from a 4x pci-e to a 16x with riser cable as you have 3 16x PCI-e slots on your motherboard so a 16x to 16x riser cable would be the option
If you using riser cables to lower heat rather just add more case fans / increase case fan speeds

I doubt anyone would be searching for this

Maybe try reading some articles on mining and gaming before running ahead and damaging components. Also just a FYI, it’s not worth mining on a single GPU. The returns are not worth the extra power use and strain put on the GPU.

1. Couldnt wait for the reply...
2. Glutton for punishment arent you???

If its a x1 to x16, CLEARLY it will be a max x1. While i dont think that effects mining, it wkll effect gaming big time. You will want x16 to x16 if you plan on gaming with that card.

And, to be clear, you killed the card by your own negligence and returned it to the store after YOU broke it??? Thats called FRAUD.

Oh it can be profitable. But is it really incredibly profitable? No. You're talking minor profits for the effort.

One would hope he is forthcoming about what happened, but I doubt it.

Depending on what’s being mined you’re looking at maybe a few cents a day mining on a single 1070 So most of the small gains will be going right back into the cost of power not to mention reducing the life span of the GPU and fans if ran at 100% 24/7.

Edit: he mentioned wanting to mine and game

Actually im adding 3 gtx 1070 for 4k, mining is first but sometime gaming on sunday,
Thats why asking before purchasing wrong item,
Just build mining case temp are under control,
I see 16x wire is so shot, is ther anything like riser cable with long wire etc.

Edit: he mentioned wanting to mine and game
I added 2 more gtx 1060 but it cant sli so i need to add 2 more gtx 1070 for more good, i also have used antminer s9 but i think gpu mining is more good as it have resale value but s9 is not worth in future
Edit my electricity cost 0.01usd pkw
