I like where MSI is going with their new boards. I have had plenty of problems and complaints with them before but they started to listen to feedback and guess what, they are back in the game big time.

Very busy time and it is shame can't spend as much time with each board as I would like to. Quite literally this stuff is piling up on my table :p

Why are they still building high end Mainboards with VGA and DVI Ports? That space could be used for better things than two outdated (?) standards, I guess.

A few different reasons. Maybe somebody wants to build a high-end PC, but has to build in chunks and can't afford a GPU right away. Maybe they need the processing power, but not a power-house GPU, so IGP is good enough. Maybe they will be benching GPUs hard and need the IGP for an additional monitor that isn't prone to losing its signal.
My point is that IGP is still in use by many, for various reasons. I do agree that the VGA should be dropped for HDMI or DP, though. DVI isn't really "outdated" just yet, it's still useful for those of us on monitors with a resolution ≤ 2560x1600. Until resolutions above 2560x1600 are common/feasible, DVI will not be obsolete.
