MSI RX470 4GB flash for mining

So I've gotten into this whole mining craze and attempted to flash my MSI RX 470 with a modded bios for mining, It didn't work. Then I tried to mod the original bios by copying the 1750 timing strap to the 2000 strap. Every time it would just act like no driver was installed. I've tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling with several restarts and every time gpuz shows 0 for the current mem and core clocks. NiceHash says display device/driver not initialized. Any ideas?

Put your default bios back in for now

Restore your Original bios so you have a working Card ( and pray it works

)

I did put the original bios back and it works fine. My only guess is I didn't use driver cleaner to reinstall the drivers? Also I've tried it twice, once with the nodded bios and another time with the one I modded.

Current drivers are locked down you need to look up procedures how to bypass that via driver or proper bios encoding.

@infrared you and I were tooling around with this stuff for a bit.

If your just interested in mining go back to the 16.6.1 drivers and it will work. As said above the newer drivers are locked down

Thanks this worked! Stock was 20Mhs, OC was 22 now im at 26 with a ram OC only.
