Hey peeps, this is mainly aimed at the people with either the same cards as me or similar.

When playing your games do you find them to be really noisey?

Obviously playing Crysis 2 with the DX11 and Hi Res Texture pack will make the fans go mental, but ive got Dirt 3 also, everything on MAX and the cards go loud in pretty much 5 minutes.

After doing just 2 races i came off to see the temp and it was at 77% with fan speed of 79%.

Surely this is a bit high after only 10 minutes of play, all the drivers are up to date and working, theres no artifacting in my games or anything, but when i did the MSI Kombustor extreme test GPU 2 would be about 10 - 15C higher than GPU 1, is that normal?

Edit: Just looking on MSI K now and GPU at idle was 51C yet GPU 2 was 68.5C, is that right?

Mine are noisy, however right now I have my main rig about 12 feet away from my actual desk. I run very long HDMI cables and usb extenders, and I use a KVM over IP for some stuff.

Regardless, at full tilt with my custom fan profile they are still really loud. I'm used to being in a data center all day though so it's quiet in comparison. When I shut that rig off it gets super quiet in my office. I can't wait to finish my new gpu water loop because of this.

They can get really hot too, so yes one card will be hotter than the other. You can't avoid that unless you have a motherboard with space in between PCIE slots. It's just a matter of physics.
