I Have an x800 se overclocked to 540mhz core and 560mhz mem it has run on ati tool for over 20 mins without finding any artifacts, it has only got 2.0ns 256mb GDDR3 mem on it but i have an artic cooler 4 on it and it idles at around 30 C and goes up to about 42 C after scanning for artifacts fo 20 mins. Has anybody else managed to do this successfully and have any info on the long term affects as i have only had my card like this for a couple of days so far. It gets 9798 on 3dmark 03 so im happy if its safe.

are the above OC stats set with just the standard bios?

how do you know the temp of the graphics card?

i used ati tool last night upped core to 500, mem to 475 ran for about 2 hours, no artifacts

but the ati tool said my temp was 51c? is this too hot ?

any tips you can give me on bios etc would be great
