Hey, so I have a MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition and it doesn’t power on at all besides running fans when turned on.

I’ve tried both with my Xeon E3-1225 v3, 32GB RAM, RX 6600 and a Corsair CX650M (2021), as well as with a i5-4590T, 4GB RAM, and a R5 240 with a Dell PSU.

I’ve tried resetting the CMOS, I’ve looked for bent pins, but I just can’t get it to display anything. It doesn’t beep or have any lights either besides when I reset the CMOS, but the fans will run.
I’ve tried both PCIe slots and outside of the case as well. Even trying the iGPU doesn’t work.

Any solution?

Bios is corrupted. Needs a chip or flash with a programmer.

Alright, I’ll get one. I have other PCs to flash it with, but can I just use the BIOS files from MSI’s website or do I need special ones for flashing directly to the chip?

Question. Would this be the BIOS chip?
Another question, which one do I need? I’m not sure which series this chip is.

Edit: Do I get a CH341a 25 series SOIC8 usb flash programmer for this? I'm not sure if that's the one I need for this board.

I got a CH341a and I'm currently trying to use the latest bios file on the MSI website to flash it, but every time there's a verification error in AsProgrammer when I try to flash it. It also doesn't seem to read anything besides continuous FF's. Any fix?
