even if i don't think anyone knows.....:pimp:

well i have an firewire cam connected to my pc and i want to use it as a webcam but the msn doesn't use it mic,the camera works(and on very high res) but the mic doesn't does any one knows a way??

is the cable for the mic that comes out of the webcam plugged in? if everything is usb, are you sure that you enabled it on your system, like in the sound panel and in your webcam's drivers?

it isn't on usb its connected to a firewire and it dosn't have any drivers, and it is digital video camera it haves built in mic

try looking online for drivers. you probably need drivers to enable the mic and integrate it into windows.

You will need drivers for that. If there is no seperate connection for the mic then there SHOULD be a second set of drivers specifically for the in-built mic.

The one I have has a seperate connection for the mic which requires no drivers.

mine is a jvc even though i did do a search i didn't find any drivers, the mic haven't have any output

try the drivers and see if they work?some of the newer cameras probably have built in mics as well and the driver might enable the mic in yours.
