Multiplayer PS3 Games

Can someone recommend me some MP games for PS3? I have decided on MW2 and Uncharted looks pretty cool.

mag's been released recently - 256 players online at once in an objective based fps - could be worth a try

I'm liking the look of AvP which is out on ps3, pc and 360 in 8 days, but the pc version will be a lot better imo so probably not the best for ps3.

Whats different in MaG than maybe MW2 or BBC2? I played the AvP demo and I think its terrible.

MaG just has a lot more players per map (and is meant to be a little more tactical with teams working togeather to achieve objectives) - ive not tried it so i can't say what it's like. As to playing online i would but i don't play ps3 games anymore - it's demoted to bluray player until it can get some decent games which aren't available on pc or xbox360 (pc controls+graphics>360 controller+graphics>ps3 controller+graphics imo).

Maybe ill check it out. I might pay 40 maybe 45 for it but not 60. :nutkick:

probably worth a rent or demo if they had one (to try it first) since it lacks single player (i hate how expensive these games are).

Over 9000 user-created levels with about any theme you can imagine, 4 or 6 player (can't remember) online games that are a blast (that is, you're not lagging).

+1 on Borderlands, I had (and still have) great fun playing it with my friend using splitscreen. You probably can find it in the bargain bin. Gameplay is good but generic, plenty of grinding and things like that. Still great fun though, with Claptrap(s) deserving a mention for being annoyingly entertaining.

Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, MAG, and Haze are games that I own that I can recommend, all have a high amount of players(Well Haze doesn't have a high amount, but alot for all the negativity towards it, it really is a great game).
