Hi,

I'm trying to set up a tele conference where I'm trying to show other people how to run a machine. I want to have multiple wireless ip cameras pointing at the machine and viewer or me being able to easily choose which angle to view. I also want viewer to see the program running on my computer screen.

I'm thinking of Skype and Teamviewer but I'm not sure if skype support multiple webcams or if it support ip cameras.

So my questions are:
1. Which program should I use?
2. Which webcam or wireless ip camera would you recommend?

Thank you

Skype does not support IP cameras(at least not directly), but it does support 2 cameras directly connected to PC, as Win10 by itself.

My solution for your case would be simple:
Run anything, either Skype or TeamViewer, and simply use Desktop sharing features to display whatever is going on on your IP cameras using your DVR software.
I know, it's clumsy, but so far that's your only option for IP cams.

I've seen some people use ManyCam in order manage switching between video sources and streaming to a virtual Webcam, but it is shareware.
Free version only supports 2 sources, and the "Studio" version w/ 12 sources costs almost $70.

Regarding IP camera selection:
This is an excellent cam.
DCS-2630L
I got one of those as a present here on TPU. Setup is a bit difficult, but the streaming quality is excellent. Supports multiple RTSP streams at different resolutions, and has a built-in card reader for recording @1080p.
If you need something cheaper, and 720p is enough for your tasks, then you may try Xiaomi YI Home. It is a small consumer-oriented camera, but it works just fine.

The only thing you should NOT get under any circumstances, is any cheap chinese IP cam, or anything from Foscam. Not secure. Easily hackable.

Is House Party an option? Or Zoom indeed.

It all depends how they hook into camera, though, but these do support multiple feeds.
