woah, externally this looks almost identicle to my tagen stealth 580W psu...
probably the same manufacturer. a lot of times one manufacturer will make units for more than one company.
I'm sorta dissapointed... it doesnt state the continous amperage...
Eg, my one has 600W Continuous, whist 700W max, that means it can be classified as a 700W PSU.
It's Tagan, not Tagen.
That's true. Tagan builds PSUs for Mushkin.
thats what the mfgr puts on it.. it's usually bs
Why didn't you show the "Accessories & Cables" box that comes within the actual box ? It's a pretty neat idea imo.
Either that or "Mit freundlichen Grüßen"
Yeah... I don't like it when companies dont tell the continuous amperage... 580 MAX, lol probably like 500W Cont. (well as if any normal system would use more than 400W my one uses 293... should have got NeoHE 430W)
Top notch review as always W1zzard. One thing though, while I love the "modular" (read: VersaPlug) design, Im a little disappointed in the overall quality and some things that arent needed. I was hoping for a better showing from Mushkin and their PSU's. Seems corsair/seasonic and be quiet make some of the best psus around (of course PC P&C)
corsair psu incoming soon for testing
