Not happy right now...
In preparation for my 3870s, I removed my 1950XT from the loop. So I took the oportunity to rearrange the tubing as suggested by a few people who helped me when I fisrt put it together.
I have the new Danger Den MC-TDX CPU block and was testing it with some MX-2. I have only had this together for less than 2 months. Upon removing the block, I saw disticnt pitting on both the CPU and the block. My chip is lapped so there is only copper in contact with the block.
Now I read a thread on xtremesystems about MX-2 eating aluminum, but never copper! What the heck CAN you put this stuff on!
The only thing I can think of is that DD's new parts have an anti-tarnishing coating on them. Perhaps this combined with the MX-2 has somehow made it corrosive.
I have a thread on the DD forums in hopes of Jeremy enlightening me as to why this may be happening. But in the end, my stuff is still fooked! I shouldn't have to relap my chip and block after using MX-2.
Who should be responsible and what would be reasonable to ask for in compensation?

I am waiting in freaked anticipation at these photos. Thank the lord I've kept with my trusty AS5.
I got MX-2 on my CPU, NB, GPU, SB, I took off the SB when I has a bad flash on the card and didnt see anything wrong with the block
