This is turning irritating, the best suspicion I've heard for the cause is that the audio device is trying to sync with the video card, and because of that it won't sleep. Is there a workaround that anyone knows of or better yet, an actual solution? I want to be able to use the speaker out on my monitor, but this prevents it. With DVI connected, no problems getting the system to sleep.
