Up for sale: my computing hardware over the course of a decade. You can choose from my very first Socket A chip, the Duron 600 all the way up to an Intel E8600. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more diverse array of hardware. So why am I unloading all of this stuff?! Well, it's time. I've been carrying around some of this hardware since my freshman year of college in 2000. Items marked [FT] are for trade only obviously, but anything else is for sale or for trade.

What I'm looking for:
Radeon 5850 or 2x 5770's (see the Hanns-G LCD below)

Netbook or small notebook- give me the specs, what hardware you want in return, and I'll let you know if I'm interested.

A good digital camera (Canon, Nikon, Panasonic preferable) with at least 6 megapixel rating, preferably in pink (hey, it's for my wife)

Due to the sheer amount of hardware, I couldn't possibly get it all in one picture in the tiny room it's in. But here's most of it:

If you want me to post a picture of something, please ask. I've got many more.

Monitors:
Hanns-G 28" HG-281D LCD, [FT] only: see my wanted items above, camera trade will require cash thrown in depending on model. Pay only shipping (sorry, it's heavy), and I will pay shipping for the item(s) I'm getting from you.
Also included but not shown: vesa wall mount (up/down and left/right swivel, extends monitor from wall approx 4", retracts to about 2" from wall), 10' DVI to HDMI cable.
If you're on the fence about a trade, I could throw in something else from below to sweeten the deal. Let me know.

17" 1280x1024 LG DVI/VGA. Sold: playah

Processors: All retail CPUs include original heatsink/fan
1x Retail AMD Sempron 140 45w AM3 (Does not unlock stably) $25 + shipping; Barely a month old, not overclocked.

1x Retail AMD Sempron 140 45w AM3 (Unlocks stably!!) $40 + shipping; Two months old, unlocked and undervolted to 1.15v.

Known unlocking boards (I own both, but recommend the Gigabyte because the BIOS was less finicky about certain settings getting changed):
GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H - this is the board I have the unlocked Sempron on
ASUS M4A785-M - my HTPC board

Retail Intel LGA775 Q6600 G0 L737B $155 shipped firm; L737B was a golden batch, perhaps the best batch ever released of the Q6600. I found it at CompUSA the week before they started their final liquidation. I didn't know what I had until I looked online at what others were getting out of this batch. It will run at 4GHz+ with the right motherboard and cooling. I kept it at 3.6GHz 1.3125v 24/7 (this is a very consistent setting for this batch). It will do 3.8GHz with 1.3825v. The voltage required for 4GHz depends on the motherboard, but you will need top end air cooling or water cooling to keep the chip stable at 4GHz+. You will most likely not get 4GHz on a budget board. Good power regulation (lots of phases) and GTL reference voltage settings in the BIOS are a must.

Retail Intel LGA775 E8600 Q820A $175 shipped; Used in my HTPC at 4GHz 1.2v 24/7. From what I understand, this is a very good batch with many people hitting 4.5GHz on air with less than 1.4v.

OEM Intel LGA775 Q6600 G0
Sold: jmsandrsn

OEM AMD Athlon64 S939 3500+ Venice, $25 + shipping; Ran at 2.8GHz 24/7

Retail AMD Athlon64 x2 S939 3800+ 2GHz (512kB L2 Cache x2), $57 + shipping; Formerly in my wife's computer before going to the Q6600. Ran it @stock speed.

OEM Opteron S939 170 2GHz (1MB L2 Cache x2) CCBBE 0617FPMW $90 + shipping; Formerly in my HTPC, ran at 2.4GHz. This is a golden batch chip. There is a very good likelihood of the chip hitting at least 2.8GHz (1.40v - 1.45v) and possibly over 3GHz (1.5v+) which is virtually unheard of on socket 939. In fact, at those speeds it would still be a very speedy chip even in the latest games with a proper video card.

OEM Pentium III s370 (Coppermine) 866MHz/133Mhz FSB $10 + shipping

Multiple Socket 462 Athlons/XPs (Palomino, Tbred & Barton chips, and some older) :

Mobile Athlon XP 2200+ "Barton" $18 + shipping

Other Athlons/XPs $10 + shipping each

Duron 600 Just pay shipping

3x120 Radiator Dark Blue (original Black Ice?): Sold: smashed_99cbr

Networking Equipment:

2x1GB G.Skill F1 3200PHU2 2GBZX CAS2-3-2-5, $55 + shipping

4x 512MB G.Skill Samsung PC3200 TCCD RAM: $70 shipped, firm
*This is one of the three the highest clocking DDR chips in existence, only the Winbond BH5 chips and Hynix B3 are comparable to this

Motherboards:
Asus A8V Deluxe s939 VIA K8T800 w/IO Shield. Sold: robvia

Asrock 939-Dual, full speed AGP and PCI Express ports! no IO shield, Works in Windows 7 x64, just get NIC and audio drivers from Realtek website $30 + shipping

*If you want to buy CPUs, motherboard and RAM, I offer combo discounts

Hard Drives (all drives are 7200rpm and at least ATA100:
3x 250GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 IDE HDDs- score 5.3 in Windows 7 disk benchmark: $38 + shipping each, or buy all 3 for $95 shipped
2x 120GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 IDE HDDs: $28 + shipping each, or $55 shipped for both

1x 120GB Western Digital Caviar WD120 IDE HDD: $28 + shipping (not shown)
2x 80GB Western Digital Caviar WD800 IDE HDDs: $25 + shipping or both for $50 shipped
40GB Western Digital Caviar WD400 IDE HDD: $18 + shipping

Storage Controllers:
Silicon Image 3132 SATA 2 PCIe x1 RAID Card: $13 + shipping
Silicon Image Port Multiplier, $55 + shipping; this isn't in PCI form it's the logic board with mounting holes.

This combo is perfect for adding storage to your HTPC. The SI3132 chipset will not saturate PCIe x1 bandwidth, but it will nearly max out a gigabit connection which is really all you need in a home server. These cards were used in my 12 drive behemoth fileserver for about a year. I've since downsized for economic reasons, mainly because my server was consuming over 200w at idle and never sleeping. I was able to shave off $40 from electric bill by going to an AM3/785G motherboard with an undervolted dual core CPU and taking out 6 drives.
Or buy both Silicon Image parts for $65 shipped w/free eSATA to SATA cable

2x Promise Ultra 100 TX2 IDE expansion cards: $10 + shipping each, or buy both for $20 shipped

Sound Cards:
Creative Soundblaster Live 24bit aka/Audigy SE PCI: $15 + shipping

Hercules Game Theater XP: $25 + shipping
Digital/TOSLINK/Coaxial SPDIF In/Out, MIDI In/Out, USB hub
*Official driver support up to Windows Vista 32bit, so it should work in Windows 7 32bit as well

Turtle Beach Santa Cruz (uses same audio chipset as the Hercules Game Theater XP): $5 + shipping
*Confirmed driver support up to Windows XP 32bit, but there were many cards that used this sound chip, so it may be supported by another mfg's drivers even into Windows 7. It should also work in Linux. 20bit DAC, hardware EQ

Chaintech AV-710 7.1 PCI soundcard, coaxial SPDIF out, $10 + shipping
Windows 7 compatible

M-Audio Revolution 7.1 PCI, 24bit 192KHz, digital/TOSLINK SPDIF out: $40 + shipping
M-Audio website has drivers for Vista 32bit and 64bit, they should work in Windows 7

Bare Bones:
Abit ST6 motherboard, 256MB PC133 RAM, Pentium III 1.4S Tualatin 512kB L2 w/heatsink; $27 + shipping
I had been passively cooling this. Yes you can undervolt and run it passively with this heatsink.

Abit IS7 w/Pentium 4 2.4C "Northwood", 1x 512MB DDR400 CAS2 (Winbond BH5!); $38 + shipping
The onboard audio does not work and you should really put a fan on the northbridge heatsink. The heatsink is held in place by wire since the retention mechanism crapped out.

Payment:
PayPal (personal, non credit card only- I'm not a business) and USPS money orders accepted. In the case of money orders, I will ship once I have received the money order.

Return policy:
If something arrives to you DOA, I will refund you what you paid, including the original shipping amount if it was calculated separately from the cost of the item. I will credit the money back after I have received the faulty item from you. Sorry, I don't credit return shipping. If the item states, "as is," then there are no returns on the item. Also, there are no returns/refunds on non-electrical, non-mechanical items such as heatsinks.

Shipping:
All items are shipped UPS ground to addresses within the continental US only. If you are willing to wait for me to ship an item on a Saturday, I can ship it USPS, otherwise I use UPS because I have a daily pickup from my office. If you want to verify my shipping charges, please go to the UPS website and use their Time & Cost estimator, use Hartford, CT as the origin location. I am not making any money off this. Alternately, if you'd like to pick up the items in person, I am willing to accommodate that as well. UPS Ground shipping to a business is nearly 30% cheaper than shipping to a residence, please keep that in mind when deciding where to ship the item(s).

Best offers:
If I don't explicitly state that the price is firm, I will entertain offers and other trade suggestions, even for things I'm not expressly looking for- i.e. got 2x 4890? I might be willing to trade for that. If you think a price for a certain item is ridiculous, please say so, but that doesn't necessarily mean I won't scoff at your comment! You can make me an offer via PM, if I accept, I'll put your name on a list that appears in this thread under the item indicating that you made the highest offer. I won't show your offered price, of course.

I updated my post with this info. There are many more boards with the SB710 southbridge that will work too.

Nice Barton,
IIRC tho the Hynix B3 chips were comparable to Samsung TCCD chips if not faster, I remember seeing some hitting DDR 650 On 2.8v with still decent timings.

I don't remember it being as widely available as TCCD or BH5 in the US though. I could be wrong. For accuracy, I suppose I could modify the info and state that the TCCD was one of the top 3 overclocking DDR chips ever.

Bump for incredible collection. One of the best I have seen. Buy it all guys.

I actually had a nice story chronicling the history of a lot of this hardware. I decided against posting it in the original thread because I thought it might piss people off who just wanted to see the goods.
