Well the fan on my HIS X1950 PRO decided to die so I made a temporary solution. The stock Sapphire cooler actually fit with almost no mods, all I had to do was take a dremel and trim off about 2mm of metal off the back of the cooler so that it clears the HIS heatsink. What's really surprising is that the Sapphire cooler already had a hold cut in it to clear the Rage Theatre chip even though none of the rev2 Sapphires actually had this chip.
Looks funky doesn't it?
Hopefully I won't have to lower the voltage and underclock too much for this cooler.
