My new monitor acceptable or not?

Hi, guys I ask some people about my new rig but I havent experienced blacklight bleed or IPS glow before my first VA panel. I coulndnt solve yet. Need some advice return yes/no? it is curved MAG27CQ.

How it looks with a totally black screen is not that important. Can you see that glow when gaming, browsing and with other tasks? If so, and you cannot adjust it out and still have a satisfactory image, then yeah, you might need to send it back.

Have you tried to calibrate it? Note the "Calibrate display" applet built into Windows 10 is actually pretty good. From the Control Panel Color Management applet, Advanced tab, lick on Calibrate display and follow the prompts and see what happens.

that looks ugly, but even for a curved va, for that matrix is unacceptable...I'd never buy that brand again...

btw, if you want va, go for mva, but preferably amva+, and what ever you do, don't buy a curved one...

Well, that's just silly. Until Man can create perfection 100% of the time, there will always be units that don't meet specs or expectations. That is no reason to use one sample of one model to condemn an entire brand.

This is especially true when we don't even know what, if anything, is wrong with that monitor. It could just be a simple adjustment issue. Or maybe the box was drop-kicked by the carrier. There is nothing to suggest every monitor of that model number is bad, and certainly nothing to suggest every monitor with the MSI brand (or any brand using that OEM screen) is flawed by design or manufacturing process.
