I was playing a game of csgo, out of rage i rammed my desk. All of a sudden my screen froze, i tried moving my mouse but everything stopped working. When i turned my pc off and tried to start it again my fans started spinning for a few seconds before the pc shut ifself down again. I have already tried to fix the problem but nothing worked so far. I tried resetting the CMOS but when i started my pc again after 2 hours the fans keps spinning but i got a black screen, and when i removed my gpu it did the same as before i resetted the CMOS. I checked and replugged all important cables, and i tried to start my pc without any usb cable plugged in. Im out of ideas

Have you tried a new display cable? might have slammed it into the wall and damaged it.

@TerX2 - while technically 550W is big enough for your system. the CX series from Corsair is next to the bottom in terms of quality from Corsair. Since everything inside the case depends on quality power, I would try a different PSU.

I don't see how could have anything to do with the CMOS.

If you unplug power from your drives and boot, the computer should make it through POST (power on self test) then stop when it cannot find a boot drive. If you don't get that far, it's not your drives.

You said you checked and unplugged all the "important" cables. Not sure what that mean. They are all important - especially if they are not connected correctly, or shorting out somewhere.

Make sure you unplug from the wall and touch bare metal of the case interior to discharge any static in your body BEFORE reaching in - EVERY time.

Have you tried a different monitor?

Benchmark Scores They're pretty good, nothing crazy.
something got knocked loose.

Open it up, take everything out... re-seat everything apologize to your rig, and then seal her back up.

If that doesn't work then it's possible something got actually damaged --

1. Try running it with just the igpu on the 9700K to eliminate GFX,
2. Try one ram stick at a time to see if a dimm died...
3. Try using a different PCIE slot on the mobo to see if the slot went dead.

what could i check about it?
Just unplug the HDD and turn on the pc. If it doesn’t boot, I think you should follow what @Bill_Bright wrote.

I think this is a good idea except the OP said he removed the GPU and got the same results. :(

Note sure if running 1 x 16GB or 2 x 8G but trying one stick at a time is worth a shot.

If the same results and you are 100% certain all cables are securely connected, then I'm back to trying a different PSU and different monitor.

You said you disconnected and reconnected the cables but I would start by disconnecting everything and only connecting the bare min you need to boot, so just board and GPU power and displayout. Also remove all but one stick of RAM and make sure its in the right DIMM slot if thats a thing with your board.

thank you guys for the help, especially you @Bill_Bright . I fixed the problem by unplugging all my components and plugging them back in and cleaning most of the dust off my components.
Well done!, glad you're up and running again. Just remember to remain calm and take a step back from your machine if angry ;)
I'm sure many have been there although some won't admit it.
