i built my pc myself, now i set my RAM maually to 3200 but in the BIOS it still shows as: DRAM Status - A2: 2133MHz B2: 2133MHz. i returned my previous RAM because it looked like it was a faulty part, now im considering that my motherboard doesnt work properly. i even uptaded my BIOS to the latest version.

It happens after applying XMP profile(s)? Run something like HWiNFO and see what it reports for memory speed.

Edit: You should also fill out your specs, so that everyone knows what hardware you have.

According to HWinFO it's running at 3200 MHz, 1600 MHz displayed per channel.

You said you're using slots A2 and B2, check your motherboard manual, perhaps you should be running A1 and B1 instead with 2 modules only.

Can you take a photo or a screenshot of the BIOS displaying 2133 MHz with current speeds and timings?

What does the Memory tab in CPUz show ?
For 3200 it should show 1600 or close to that.
1600 x 2 = 3200.

Did you try to Enable XMP? or you just set Ram at 3200MHz.
Use HWiNFO64 sensors only mode and look for DRAM voltage or Vdimm.
Could be that you’re trying to run 3200MHz with 2133MHz voltage. It’s 1.35V and 1.2V respectively.

That’s why you need to enable XMP. The XMP profile is set all RAM parameters. Speed, timings and voltage.
