i recently bought an rtx 2060, it arrived today, but everytime i try to open a game like warzone and r6 the game crashes, but when i open fivem and csgo the game works properly. Warzone just closes, I thought it was a vram problem but I benchmarked it in the OCCT and apparently it isn't. I've tried to clean drivers (ddu), install other drivers, but nothing works, does anyone have an idea of what it might be?

hello welcome to tpu and enjoy your stay.....
first of all would you be able to list your pc parts including the power supply unit.
maybe some dust got into your pci-e slot, uninstall the graphics driver and then check for dust on any pci-e connector....

Probably the PSU, as the GPU will draw more power for some games and spikes could be causing the crashes, other games are more CPU dependent.

Run a GPU benchmark like Unigine Heaven. If it finishes successfully, most likely the problem isn't the GPU itself but a software problem.

In this case it wouldn't be the PSU since Unigine Heaven will max out the GPU.

Did you buy the GPU new or used? If used, from who? If from a stranger, did you get any proof of it not being faulty before buying it? Or of it not having been used for mining and modified?

What's the actual model of that 2060? How many PCI-E connectors is it using?

what feature?
The Warzone feature.

If you're experiencing no other issues with any other games or benchmark programs with the 2060, then most likely the problem is with Warzone itself.

My only suggestion would be to try the past few WHQL drivers and see if any of them make a difference when you try to play Warzone.

If you get an API-related error when gaming, it's most likely an unstable GPU core, usually when OC'ing that too much. Same, if a game randomly gets terminated unexpectedly.

The classic one of the GPU core being unstable, (almost always because of GPU core frequency being too high) is "display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered" or similar error message from Windows. Especially with Heaven. Also, it looks like you can't expect Heaven to bootcamp the GPU core as hard as Superposition, where 1080p Extreme, is much like UHD!

1080p Extreme of Superposition, may make even CP 2077 look like a walk-in-the-park, LOL.

I put in msi afterburner -110 core clock and it works in warzone, but i ran heaven without crashing in stock core clock, why this is happening?

Try Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme. (Warning, with Superposition's 1080p Extreme preset, it will be slower than 1440p in games! At least true with my Radeon RX 5600 XT)
(Heck, it's a lot slower than Halo MCC in UHD on a Radeon RX 5600 XT! IIRC, I can regularly hit 60 FPS with Halo MCC in UHD.)

This is a successor to Heaven.

It's possible you have a card that's not completely stable at its stock speeds. You may have to run Warzone at the -110 clock you mentioned above.
