Basically I have 80GB left out of 220GB on my SSD. Considering I have all my media on an external drive and 2 games (age of empires II and pokemon uranium) on my SSD this is alot of space that's taken up....

Are there any things that I can clean out here?

- I see 14.1 gigs of Iphone junk.

- 9.4 GB of user data

- 6.1 + 4.9 Gigs applications so that should probably stay there.

Pro tip
You can link your personal folders to another storage device. My entire User maps are on my mechanical HDD. It's an easy fix.

You can also turn off hibernation.

The user data I cannot find though, unless it is hidden. Since if I actually open the user folder there is about 250MB of files in there. Not the 9.1GB it states :/
Iphone folder is my phone photos backup I have two copies :).

So I have 118GB worth of items on the SSD with a 220GB capacity yet 80GB remaining?
Where did the other 20GB go?

AppData folder in the user folder is hidden: C:\Users\Jonah\AppData
C:\Users\Johnah\AppData\Local\Temp has 3.5 GB of data that can be safely deleted
C:\Users\Johnah\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs has 1.5 GB of data that can be safely deleted.

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore massive at 17 GB. Mine is only 2 GB. It kind of looks like NVIDIA drivers spammed the directory. I'd consider uninstalling NVIDIA drivers, running driver cleaner to mop up the lot of them, then installing NVIDIA drivers again. That could clear up many GB of space.

C:\Windows\Installer (Installer is a hidden folder) is huge at 25 GB (mine is only 1.7 GB). It might be NVIDIA taking up all this space so doing the above may clean this up.

Disabling hibernation would free up 6.3 GB

C:\Iphone 2 has 14 GB of data apparently copied from a phone.

There's a SWSetup folder, I think at C:\SWSetup, that appears to be wasting 8 GB. Might be drivers and crap that were installed with the system that are no longer needed on said system.

NVIDIA Corporation...appears to be using at least 2 GB of data, potentially much more because of Installer/DriverStore (holy bloated!). If you can install a driver-only version of NVIDIA's crap, I'd definitely do that.

As previously mentioned, your iPhone syncing with your computer has taken up 14 GB on your computer.

Installer and DriverStore seem to be the heart of your problem. The Windows directory is twice as large (50 GiB vs <25 GiB) as it should be because of those two folders.
Yes they are huge I've never understood why.

I'll get onto that and try it out. I've never had this issue until i started using geforce experience to install drivers.

I'd uninstall everything NVIDIA and just install the drivers. It looks incredibly bloated.

The full paths I typed in my previous post, enter them into Explorer/search them and it should take you right there, navigating past the hidden folders. I also edited that post quite a lot...

Driver clean freed up 4.4GB, I'm going to delete all the other things you mentioned! Will report back :)

In regards to the driverstore and install folder what can I do with those??

Be very, very, very careful with DriverStore and Installer. You're best path to deal with them is via Programs and Features + display driver cleaner. I wouldn't directly delete anything out of either of them (Windows probably won't let you anyway because it's a TrustedInstaller permissioned directory).

Use Driver Store Explorer to clean it up. Don't recommend fiddling manually as you can bork things up quite badly.

After deleting all the files and just reinstalling Nvidia drivers through their website (no geforce experience) I'm back to where I began at 80GB :/

Yeah, that's a better route to take if Programs and Features + Display Driver Uninstaller doesn't clean it up.

Did you run Display Driver Uninstaller before reinstalling the drivers?

So pressing Enumerate creates a list of what I am guessing is within the driver store folder? Then I am to manually tick boxes and then press delete ?

The culprit?

@FordGT90Concept yes ran DDU, uninstalled, wiped clean, restarted system then downloaded straight from Nvidia

Miraculously at 92.9GB free now.
Deleting all the razer files in driver store freed up another gigabyte.

Yes, enumerate means "search and list" basically. It's a bit odd that you have so many Razer drivers. Do you have Razer keyboard or mouse that you update regularly? It shouldn't be leaving behind so many old drivers...

Hey guys, managed to clear all the junk. 116GB Free now, where I'd expect it to be :).

I used a software called WICleanup (http://appnee.com/wicleanup/).

It basically found all the unused .msp files in my driverinstaller folder and deleted them all.

Thanks for everyone's help and contributions :D.

@RejZoR Yes I have a Razer mouse, however I can't tell you why it left all those old drivers :/ .
