My XFX RX 560D Single Fan OC 2 GB randomly crashing

I've been having similar problems like Skeptical. This usually happens whenever I'm not running a program that requires 3D acceleration and while idling. My GPU was at 31C before the crash then it increased to 35C a few seconds before the crash occurred according to my log. Here are the things I've already tried:

-Updating AMD driver
-Dusting the GPU and the heat sink
-Reinstalling Windows
-Downgrading the AMD driver to version 19.x.x

I also discovered in the Event Viewer that it also detected a display driver error: "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

I just looked up some solutions related to that error and suggested me to create the TdrDelay registry and set the value to 0. I never had the TdrDelay in my registry before.

I'm running a local Plex server connected to my smart TVs and I don't want my server to get interrupted whenever the amdkmdap.sys file has stopped responding. For example, if I was in a middle of a movie or a TV show, it would stop playing the content.

Here are my PC specs:
-Gigabyte B450M DS3H
-AMD Ryzen 5 3600
-Corsair RGB 16GB (2x8GB) 3200mhz
-XFX RX 560D Single Fan OC 2GB
-500W PSU

UPDATE: I applied the TdrDelay in my registry and set the value to 0, but the GPU still crashes. Sometimes the GPU crashes and reboots, and it wouldn't even have the amdkmdap.sys error. It sounds like it doesn't make sense, but it's still a GPU related error.

Could simply be because the card is dying. Do you have an another PC to test the card with?

Its a decent unit. Hmm, your card correct, it is using a single pcie power connector right?

Have you reseated the card and power connector?

Do us a favor and please get hwinfo 64, load it with sensors only, get a screenshot of the power supply voltages while idle and under load, do the same for the gpu in that program.

I believe there is a Section in GPU-Z that can show additional Data, Maybe @Solaris17 might know?

I downloaded it, and I think it probably helped. My PC has been up for more than 12 hours and haven't experience any problems. I only received one "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered." error. Don't trust AMD for the Polaris GPUs as they lack some driver support. Radeon ID is strongly recommended for the Polaris GPUs.

You use a much older driver for polaris but

You use a much older driver for polaris based cards but if this worked then, I'm glad it did.

I do note that w10+ does get easily bugged by ms updates

At least DDU has an option for disabling Windows installing a driver :)
I just unplug the ethernet or turn off wifi

I just used DDU and cleaned all of the traces of the AMD driver. Now my PC is using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter as my GPU driver.
