Yeah, I get kinda sick of that too. I think you have an excellent taste! :D

With that said, I'm currently playing Day of the Tentacle. You can't beat the old ones.

Thank You :)

I recently played through "The Ur-Quan Masters" which an free clone of Star Control 2. That game is STILL excellent, more than 16 years since it was released.

Some of the old games are indeed the best.

Well, I went on shopping. The Witcher was sold out everywhere here, and I was really bored.

I absolutely hated GTA:SA. The box is still kicking around my place somewhere, but I could never get past the completely crap controls and weird vehicle (especially two-wheeled vehicle) handling.

Nonetheless, I decided to give GTA IV a try and picked it up. So far I've be (very) pleasantly surprised, but man that thing is a resource hog. Thankfully my computer handles it well, but my other rig isn't. Since I pretty much split my time between the two, it is time to consider replacing that 9600GT....

I have. I just can't find it anywhere here, and the reviews have been less than stellar. GTA IV looks to be set to occupy me rather well for now, though, and I still got Oblivion Lost to look at.

The first game is better imo. The second game is still great though. And it's actually 7 years old. Woah, times does indeed fly. :ohwell:

@Republic commando: Yeah, it's great, but way too short. GIVE ME A SEQUEL! Sev, where are you? :(

max payne has some awesome mods... realistic mod for example... with slower bullettime, you can actually dodge bullets if you like to, and like you always wanted to... plus it runs at maximum spec on a single core proc... it really needs no performance...

never played republic commando... the helmet stile hud somehow irritated me at sight..

just completed max payne 2 , short but very good , even by todays standards, i'm playing fully modded resident evil 4 with control pad - very good although a bad port apparently , the texture mods sort this out , the witcher EE - very good
oblivion lost is a must, also did you play dark messiah of might and magic ?
fallout 3 - also bores me every now and then , but then i miss it , i have been playing it since about november on and off , i love this game
maybe a stupid question but you have played the half life 2 series , right ?

half life 2 has tons of good mods too... take a look at "Empires" or "Zombie Master"... there surely are dozens of hours of gameplay, with not too bad graphics... in fact, when correctly modded the engine can look quite nice

It wasn't on your list of games played recently so I thought I would just throw this out there. Bioshock!! If you haven't played it is fun.

Never trust game reviews. There's the factor of bias and personal opinion. There's always Steam (ew) and Newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832193024

I see Clear Sky at Walmart a lot

True, but I tend to trust when a large number of them say the same thing. I can't order from the egg (They won't ship here) and the same ofcourse makes walmart moot ;)

Might pull it off of Steam. I have quite a library of games there, since many never get here locally.
