Without giving information about your special needs, what do you suppoose we can say? Many people do not have any specific needs, others like estetics, others value for money... Amazing to just ask in the open! 100 coins gives you a wide choice of quality cases, not just Corsair or NzXt, many many are waiting for your love.

Will the case be on top of the desk or under it? This will make a quick preselection.

Corsair has great quality cases. So you can look on design and choose what you want :) If you'd prefer other brand`s design, find a review and decide which one to buy.

oops, i just remembered, where in canada are you? i just glanced at ncix's site & 300r is $80, 400r is $110, 500r is $125 (i bought this one last year, picked it up local in toronto)

from time to time there are specific sales, i've seen the 500r drop to $90 with the others being even cheaper, so that might be a consideration to watch out for sales & rebates if you dont absolutely need a case asap

Well it's nice to hear you going for the 300R i would have personally go for something like The Cooler master HAF 912 Advanced or the Cooler master Storm enforcer because it supports 200 mm fans. A freind of mine has the enforcer and his pc is a lot more silent than mine

just remembered again... my 500r is much louder than my antec 900 in regards to hard drive vibration & gfx card noise

as for 200mm fans... 120 are quite silent if they're under 1,500 rpm

plus, even when things are 'louder' in the sense of decibels, the white noise of air is a lot more pleasant than any whining sound (120mm 2,000+ rpm)

that said, there are always ways to dampen sound from the inside or outside of the case, even as simple as the position of it (mine is on my table so my ear has a line of sight to the gfx card fan, the antec 900's side panel grill opening was further back & smaller compared to the 500r so that's why i can hear the card more)

My 300r is very quiet. I have the rad for my h55 in the front above the hdd cage, sandwiched twixt a 140mm on the front and a 120mm on the back of the rad, plus a 120mm on the top and a 120mm on the back, and a 120mm in front of the drive cage.
