Not very computer literate but I can follow directions. Picture of my issue attached. If it doesn’t work I will write details out and I can’t see another screen so those options won’t work until this one is passed. By I can’t see another screen I mean I can only press delete or tab on keyboard to get to this screen. F8 doesn’t go to boot options when pressed.

thanks in advance

Looks like your Hard Drive is either disconnected, or dead.

How can I find out which one it is? If I press the options on screen nothing happens it just sits there and says selection has been selected

Open the computer up and have a look at the hard drive's connecting cables.
Also once you locate the drive place a finger on it as well as listen to see if the platters inside spin up, you should hear it, and feel a slight vibration.

You can disconnect all the SATA devices and then try to boot up (*to POST). If everything works fine then it is a chipset or hdd related problem. (chipset problems are pretty common with old AMD hardware, but u gotta try anyways...
