Need E-mail provider for safe transactions

As title says I need an e-mail provider that does not really share our informations like Google do. I will use it for E-bay, paypal, other ads websites.

Read the privacy policy. Pretty much any commercial email provider will keep your data private, but naturally you have to pay. There's (still) no such thing as a free lunch.

Protonmail comes to mind, but if you really want secure - there's nothing better than having your own mail server.
The only issue is that some websites(like PP or ebay) don't support "non-conventional" email domains.

Yeah, it's a pain to have to have a dedicated machine running for most folks, but that is certainly an option.

I don't have internet connection at home just my cellphone data plan so no server possible. Also Squirrel mail last update based on their website is v1.0 on Mar 28, 2014. I use my cellphone for sales as it's more practical for taking pictures and posting them plus receiving e-mails and phone calls.

I see that the headquarter is in Geneva Swiss but do you know where are located the servers? Are they in Swiss because they are considered Neutral? Thx

After reading on their website their servers are located in Swiss at their headquarter. Registered to a free account since it's new for me and all I need for now. Thank you for the advice on that.

Proton mail was developed for CERN, or by folk involved with it. I once used it to set up an account to report something I saw on the web.

You have the feature to setup a backup email to send you the code and process to change password.

After "recovering" your account you will still lose all your emails because they are encrypted with your password.

Why not using SMIME or PGP to encrypt your mails by yourself? You can use ANY mail provider and only the recipient can read your mails and vice versa.
Besides the encryption you can also sign your mails to ensure the recipient that the mails are from your side.

I just have recognized you don‘t want to encrypt the text, you want anonymous email. Then pgp is not the thing to go, sorry.

The point here is that Proton Mail provides a secure way to send Email on the web. It's no-cost, secure, (as long as you remember your password) and it's easy to use.

I think that it covers all of the requested features in the OP's post.

I use Gmail and never had a problem.

How do you know eBay or the seller on eBay is not selling your information? You don't! So who cares what email provider you use (doesn't your cell phone carrier offer one?).

Fact is, I expect Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, eBay, Walmart, [fill in the blank] to sell/share my information. So I don't give them any personal information via email.

I recommend you simply set up a couple different Gmail accounts and use one for friends and family, one for your on-line purchases.

More important than the email providers sharing your information is you making sure you get a secure link (locked padlock) when you make your transaction.

So from what I read if you reset your password in proton they automatically delete all your e-mail after the password change ?
