Hi,
Im using premium x16 cable for gtx 1070,
Want to order another x16 of 25 cm for second gtx 1070 but its too expensive, somewhere i though that i should buy cheap pcie x16 cable for 10$ instead of first one which is about 50$,
My motherboard is asus z170 gaming pro,
Should i order same quality like first one or cheaper 10$ 8x cable will do same job or 1x cable for second gpu which is going for sli?
Btw im sorry about my less knowledge i dont know that 1x can be use for sli or not,i like asking before action.
Here is screenshot of cable what im using for first gpu.
Please give me best advice :)

I think you can go with a x8 cable for the second GPU as you get x16 in total from the CPU. So with two GPUs the bandwidth should be one x8 connection to each GPU. I would not use x1 for a GPU you want to use for gaming.

Up to you about the quality and cost...

Definitely low quality! But should work. Just be careful with bending the connectors/cable on low quality items.

Don't do SLI unless you already have the best gpu.
Sell the 1070 and get 1080Ti.

what if order this one, if wire broke cause of folding, does this can kill gpu or just no display? if its danger then i would not order, what you think?

i dont agree with you, because my brother have gtx 1080ti, i believe in real testing by use itself.
this is for those who havent got gtx1070, selling my both current gpu at half price then getting gtx 1080ti is money waste.
im getting 60+ fps on 4k with decreasing power to 70% of both card 70-70% one card is now consuming 120watt, but if i decrease gtx 1080ti to 70% it directly effects in 4k which results in unstable 60fps,
not just benefit of two card,
if i talk about mining,
one gtx 1080ti gives 720+ sols in equahash,
and one gtx 1070 gives 440 sols in equahash, two gpus 880sols.
which is smarter only profit money will judge..

That is hard for me to say - I would guess it depends what connections were broken - i don't know where the power connections are in a pcie connector (the first bit that is the same on all sizes I am guessing?) but power connections are probably more likely to kill your card if they are not right. edit - I think a pcie slot can carry up to 75watts by itself, so that would probably be enough to hurt something on your card.

If they are super cheap, why not buy two, and then use what looks to be the best one and have the other one as a test or spare if the other one breaks?

Yea.Already ordered and received HB Bridge

If cheap cables are not safe then i will not order those. Basically i wanted to invest on buying great ups so i though where should i save money, then i raised question for that because it would save 50 usd but like you said cheap cable can kill gpu if its true then im not going to order, will order expensive one :( but still money is an issue.

Save up for the time being at this point, patience helps alot. I couldn't build my system all at once, I had to order 1 or 2 items a month.

Use 1 card for the time being, once you have the bridge, deal with it then.
