Need help cutting a window

So i ordered my coolermaster 590 yesterday and today i realized i ordered the one without the window. No problem cause i didnt like the standard window. Problem, i need to make my own window now. Can you guys give me advice or point me too some guides please because this is nerve wracking!

If you got a jig saw I would use that over a dremmel or you'll be buying alot of wheels. Here's what I did with a jig saw. Just took a couple minutes. Just drill a couple starter holes big enough for jig saw blade to go through. Make sure you use tape so you dont scratch side panel. good luck.

Yeah i managed to find his page a while ago already :laugh:

also, i dont know of anybody that has or even knows what a dremel is. So ill use a jigsaw.

Use a high TPI (teeth per inch) blade for your jigsaw to give a cleaner cut and not rip the edge of the cut.
Something about 30 TPI should be OK

Yeah I learnt from experience lol, that the coarser blades will leave an ugly cut and warp the edge of the metal.

And masking the whole panel is a good idea too.You can also use a hand file to finish off the edge of the cut.
And then use a black marker to colour in the edge of the cut to match the panel.
