need help finding dell cpu fan

i need to replace the 3 pin cpu fan in my demension 4600 i bought in 2004, it has the 92mm cpu fan with air duct and i cant find a replacement for it on google. the last time it went out someone here (a mod i think) directed me to a site that carried dell replacement fans and other parts but i cant remember what the name of it was.

can someone please give me a link to a site where i can get afordable replacement fan for a dell?

3 pin dell cpu fans like the one i need are wired screwy and a regular 3 pin fan will run but will not stop pausing and giving cpu fan failure warnings on startup forcing you to hit f1 to continue. for this reason a generic replacement is only a fix of last resort.

no its not that easy, its in the fan and the motherboard. they measure the rpms on the opposite voltage from standard fans so the only way is by not using the rpm wire at all and thats why the fan warnings wont go away.

as i understand it, the rpms are measured on the positive side with standard fans but in dell fans they are wired into the negative side and so is the motherboard sensor pin.

rigging wont work, it has to be wired for a dell. :ohwell:
