need help overclocking cpu

i don't know how to overclock my amd athlon XP 1700+.

What Mainboard do you have?
Go after booting into your bios.
Search the FSB frequency (it is usually 200MHz/133MHZ) in the bios menu.
It could be in CELL MENU as it is called in some MSI mainboards.
Increase the frequency CAREFULLY in steps(one step should be 1MHz).
