well I need a GPU that has the performance but doesnt cost that much, because all I have right now is a 9600SE... I recently bought a Athlon 64 3500+ and I was thinking of getting the Abit AV8 the MSI K8N Neo 2 and ASUS A8V... dont tell me to go PCI-e cause I've tried barking up that tree way too many times... so like tell me which motherboard you preffer and what GPU

P4 2.6 @ 3.1 Zalman - AMD 64 3500+
Lanparty Rev B - w/e you guys suggest
256 Corsair and 512 Samsung RAM PC2700 - I GB COrsair Extreme maybe 2 GB
9600SE - w/e you guys suggest
80 GB HD - Raptor Maybe later...
250 GB HD - this is where everything is...so I dont mess with it unless I get another Raptor

The best video card for the money is the 6600GT right now. Make sure you get the GT because it it significantly faster than a regular 6600.

ACtually yes, if you can afford the extra few dollars get the 6800LE if you want to unlock the pipes.
